Visiting Bluegrass Baptist
Visiting any church for the first time is a little difficult because you’re not sure where to sit, who to talk to or what is expected of you.  At Bluegrass Baptist you will find a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere that will put you at ease. There are no strangers here — we’re all neighbors. Whether you’re alone or with your family, the inspiring music, practical teaching, Bible-based preaching and helpful people at every turn will make your time with us refreshing and enjoyable.

What can I expect on my first visit?

We are located on the corner of US25 and US460. Drive down US25 (Lexington Road) towards Lexington and turn right up Etter Lane, then right again. Guests get to park right at the church entrance and when you arrive a friendly Greeter will direct you to the meeting hall and the location of the different rooms for children of all ages.
If you arrive at 9.30 a.m. you will enjoy a topical lesson taught by one of our team of experienced Bible study teachers. This is a time to dig into God’s Word and find answers to your practical questions about life in general and your life in particular.
At 10.45 a.m. the worship service begins with beautiful and inspiring traditional hymns and a choir presentation followed by a clear, helpful, and uplifting Bible message from Pastor Kyle Fannin. The sermons preached here reflect our belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we should tell it like it is, which explains why Bluegrass Baptist is a fast-growing church in an uncertain world.

Where do I take my children?
There is something special for children of every age, starting with safe, clean, and well-staffed nurseries for toddlers three years old and under. Mothers with infants receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need.
For children aged from four years through sixth grade, there are fun, friendly, Bible-centered classes staffed by well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make the Sunday morning experience exciting and memorable for your child.
Teenagers attend Junior Church led by our Youth Pastor, Tim Lynn.

How should I dress?
There is no dress code at Bluegrass Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family wear traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our desire is that you should feel welcome and comfortable during your visit, regardless of your clothing.

Who is Pastor Kyle Fannin?

Bluegrass Baptist Church of Georgetown was founded by Kyle Fannin in 2008. Starting with a congregation of two people, the church has grown steadily under Pastor Kyle’s leadership with an emphasis on commitment to sound Bible teaching and preaching, personal evangelism and discipleship. Married to Jessica, he has three sons, Drew, Nate, and Luke, and has over a decade of experience in various aspects of church ministry.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

We don’t invite you to Bluegrass Baptist Church for your money! We want our service to be a time of spiritual refreshment and worship for you, where you will feel loved and encouraged. Be our guest, relax, and enjoy God’s presence in the teaching and preaching and warm fellowship with others who have a sincere commitment  to finding and following the Truth revealed in God’s Word.
