WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We are located at 210 New Coleman Lane, down US25 (Lexington Road) towards Lexington. Guests get to park right at the church entrance and when you arrive a friendly Greeter will direct you to the meeting hall and the location of the different rooms for children of all ages.
Our 9:00 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. worship services begin with Scripture reading, prayer and inspiring hymns and special music followed by a clear, helpful, and uplifting Bible message from Pastor Kyle Fannin. The sermons preached here reflect our belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and we should tell it like it is, which explains why Bluegrass Baptist is a fast-growing church in an uncertain world.
WHERE DO I TAKE MY CHILDREN?
There is something special for children of every age, starting with safe, clean, and well-staffed nurseries for toddlers three years old and under. Mothers with infants receive a pager so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need.
For children aged from four years through sixth grade, there are fun, friendly, Bible-centered classes staffed by well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make the Sunday morning experience exciting and memorable for your child.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
There is no dress code at Bluegrass Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family wear traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our desire is that you should feel welcome and comfortable during your visit, regardless of your clothing.
WHO IS PASTOR FANNIN?
Bluegrass Baptist Church was founded by Kyle Fannin in 2008. Starting with a congregation of two people, the church has grown steadily under Pastor Kyle’s leadership with an emphasis on sound Bible teaching and preaching, evangelism and discipleship. Married to Jessica, he has three sons, Drew, Nate, and Luke, and has nearly two decades of experience in various aspects of church ministry.
AM I EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFERING?
We don’t invite you to Bluegrass Baptist Church for your money! We want our service to be a time of spiritual refreshment and worship for you, where you will feel loved and encouraged. Be our guest, relax, and enjoy God’s presence in the teaching and preaching and warm fellowship with others who have a sincere commitment to finding and following the Truth revealed in God’s Word.
WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS?
If there’s something we missed, just give us a call, send us an email, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it’s been a long time since you’ve attended church at all, we hope your first visit to Bluegrass Baptist will be memorable! We’re here to serve you and your family, and we look forward to meeting you personally.
