THE VISION
THE PEOPLE OF BLUEGRASS BAPTIST CHURCH...
- Glorify God by conducting their lives in such a way that it projects to others an accurate opinion of the character and person of God.
- As disciples of Jesus Christ, are pupils, learners engaged in a process of spiritual growth, being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, through preaching, teaching, and counsel from the Bible, God’s Holy Word. From the moment of salvation by faith, until they are promoted to their eternal home, these believers are to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, so they walk worthy of their calling, engage with other believers to make disciples, in order to stand approved at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
- Love God by keeping His commandments, being doers of the Word, loving the brethren, and nurturing and abiding in a personal relationship with Him.
- Love others by serving them, and serving with them.
- Intentionally share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our unique roles of life into which God has placed us. This means acknowledging the Lord’s Great Commission to His church and our responsibility as ambassadors for Christ.
