Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).
Christians know that blessings and success in life come only from God. Yet we are sometimes guilty of an unthankful attitude to God for His blessings. I have seen many people stay faithful to God during adversity, but when the blessings came, they drifted away from God, forgetting the source of the blessings. A good cure for such forgetfulness is to stay humble and grateful for everything that comes our way as we walk with God in a world that neither knows nor honors Him.
