Kyle Fannin

Pastor

Pastor Kyle and Jessica Fannin were married in 2005, and have three sons, Drew, Nate, and Luke. Ministry began at Fairfax Baptist Temple, in Fairfax, Virginia, where Kyle grew up, accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior, and attended school. It was there that he responded to a call from God to pastor. In the summer of 2008 the couple arrived in Georgetown, where their congregation of two grew to 16 charter members by the end of the year. Now hundreds of members, regular attenders and visitors gather for worship, fellowship, preaching and teaching each Sunday.

Pastor’s personal goals in life are to Love God, Glorify God, and Share the Gospel!

Zach Kirchner

Associate Pastor

Pastor Zach and Sarah joined us in 2021. Their classical music talents have made a welcome contribution to our music ministry, while Zach also heads up the administration of our finances and leads our Youth Group, educating and engaging teenagers through Bible teaching programs, events, and activities.

Ministering Staff

Wes Wade

Children’s Director & Facilities Manager

Wes and Jessika Wade have been faithful church members since 2019. Both were saved and baptized at Bluegrass. Wes still works his farm near Cynthiana, but his role here continues to grow and includes leading our children’s ministry where he coordinates the Sunday School, Bible Adventure Club and Sunday morning worship classes. He also manages the church property and the maintenance needs of our facility.

Pam Lindner

Ministries Secretary

Scott and Pam Lindner travelled the world with Scott’s service in the Marines until they and their two children settled in Georgetown in 2016. Pam joined our staff as Ministry Secretary in 2020. She supports each of the ministries at our church and serves as the Finance and Missions Secretary. Scott is a volunteer leader of our audio-visual service and doubles as the church handyman.

Edward Thal

Outreach, Discipleship, and Writing

Edward joined us in 2014 with many years of experience in Christian ministry in South Africa, England, and the United States. He is married to Dana, who is active in children’s ministries and Bible studies for ladies. Edward directs our outreach activities, including Neighborhood Evangelism, Gospel Blitz, and a program to welcome newcomers to our community. He also provides support as a preacher and Bible teacher.

Kathy Marshall

Church Secretary

Kathy and her husband Billy Marshall were charter members in 2008. They still support our church life in a variety of volunteer activities in addition to Kathy’s employment in 2017 as the church Secretary. In that role she is responsible for multiple administrative tasks including scheduling all event activities on the church calendar, preparing and printing of church bulletins and prayer lists, and recording all guest information.

Deacons

Jason Preston

Jason and Jolie Preston are charter members of Bluegrass Baptist Church. Since attending our first meeting 15 years ago they have remained faithful through every stage of our church growth. Jason sings in the choir, serves as the Navigators LifeStage director and is a Deacon responsible for coordinating the activities of all our LifeStage groups. Jolie serves in the nursery and teaches Sunday School. Together they have discipled and mentored individuals and families in our church while raising three of their own children.

Mike Duffy

Mike and Geri Duffy joined in the summer of 2011 and made an immediate impact on our church. Mike has taken a leadership role in our financial planning and overall ministry planning, teaches personal financial stewardship, and is active as a preacher in our worship services. Geri serves as a children’s teacher, acts as a hospitality host, and plays a major role in church decorating and event planning

Chris Graham

Chris and Jennifer Graham have three children. They have been with us since 2012, contributing in many ways to our church life. Chris is responsible as a Deacon for all matters concerning church security and is an avid Gospel witness and valued member of the choir. Jennifer, a former nurse, oversees the nursery where our littlest attenders are well cared for. Together they lead our Empty Nester LifeStage.

Roger Caudill

Roger and his wife Diane joined Bluegrass in 2015 after resettling in central Kentucky. Roger coordinates our men’s ministries and the monthly men’s prayer breakfast, coordinates Adult Sunday School program, and teaches in the Adult Sunday School. Diane leads our hospitality ministry to provide meals when church families suffer loss, have major surgery, or are in need. Together the Caudill’s bring a joyful enthusiasm and love for Jesus Christ to our members.

Jamie Davidson

Jamie and MinYoung have been members of Bluegrass Baptist Church since December of 2014. Jamie began serving as a Deacon in January 2021. In addition to leading the Foundations LifeStage, he also coordinates our Communion Services, supports the general property maintenance, and aides in the Men’s ministry activities.

Brian Lawson

Brian and Shannon have been members of Bluegrass Baptist Church since 2019. Brian began serving as a Deacon in 2022. He teaches in our Adult Sunday School and in Children’s Church and assists in managing our weekly income. Shannon is active in numerous ministries including nursery care, teaching and the choir. Together they help lead our Horizons LifeStage.
