God calls us to stand firm in His Word and in the life He wants us to live. Standing your ground is sometimes easier said than done! Life will run over us at times. When others don’t live by the same rules we do, we may be unpopular, we may be ridiculed, and we may not be taken seriously by them. Sometimes, it hurts!
When we find ourselves in that uncomfortable situation, we need not feel helpless or afraid because God is always near, and He offers a never-ending supply of His strength. Stand firm today as life comes flying at you, demanding that you conform to the world. Stand your ground! Stand with God and His Word!
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong (1Corinthians 16:13) .
