None of us are good enough to make it to heaven by our own efforts. Why would Jesus have had to endure death and suffering if we could do it alone?
God’s plan is for all of us, in every generation and in every nation, to ask for His mercy, confess our sins, and trust Him for our salvation. That is the essence of God’s plan for you and me. It is also the fundamental requirement for us to experience God’s wonderful, continuous gift of peace.
Jesus is the foundation stone for our peace. Do you know Him and His peace today? And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful (Col 3:15 ).
