We don’t know what God knows about every situation in our lives and the lives of others we care about. What we do learn as we meditate on His Word and the way He works in us, is that God is more interested in developing us than He is in delivering us!
A sensible way to live as a child of God is to accept what we can’t change as evidence of God’s will in our life.
I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. (Psalm 143:5-6)
