A true Christian church is not a social club for agnostics mocked by apostates. It is not a place where we seek entertainment on an otherwise boring Sunday or where we speak of a Christ we do not worship and acknowledge a Christ to whom we do not pray.
Church is not a place where we try to understand God but where we learn to obey God; where we do not hear God explained but God proclaimed.
Church is not something we do; it is who we are when we gather with fellow Christians. Church is the living Body of Christ! (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). It is a place where the spiritually thirsty come to drink from a fountain of Living Water and where the hungry feast on the Bread of Life.
Church does not offer a bandage for our problems but an alternative for our life in this world. It is a pathway to eternal life in the presence of God who loves us.
